INSTRUCCIONES DE CANCIONES SUGERIDAS PAR SER
INCLUIDAS EN EL CANCIONERO
Como parte del proyecto cancionero, hemos revisado más de
20 libros publicados de canciones. Esto trajo como resultado una
lista (un banco de datos complejo y completo) de más de 2,800 canciones
únicas. Algunas de esas canciones estaban impresas en más de uno de esos
libros. Estamos considerando activamente esas canciones "repetidas."
Sin embargo, queremos que el mayor número de personas revisen las
canciones disponibles, y sugieran qué canciones deben incluirse en
el cancionero.
¡Necesitamos su ayuda!
Un grupo pequeño no puede hacer el mejor trabajo de revisar todas las más
de 2,800 canciones. Tampoco creemos que una persona normalmente ocupada
pueda revisar las más de 2,800 canciones, y comentar sobre ellas. Por lo
tanto, le estamos pidiendo que mire un grupo pequeño de esas canciones.
Este NO es un proyecto de investigación. NO le estamos pidiendo que los
busque en himnarios y cancioneros que Ud. tenga. Por favor, escoja sólo
un grupo de los t&iactue;tulos de las canciones y las vea, si es que Ud. puede
reconocer algunas de ellas. Si reconce cualquiera de ellas, Y Ud. piensa
que esa canción es bueno incluirla en el cancionero, por favor háganoslo
saber. Las secciones a ser revisadas se basan en su apellido, y
Ud. encontrará esa información al final de estas instrucciones.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUGGESTING SONGS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE
CANCIONERO.
As a part of the cancionero project, we have reviewed more than 20
published books of songs. That resulted in a list (a complex and
thorough database) of more than 2,800 unique songs. Some of those
songs were printed in more than one of the books. We are actively
considering those "repeated" songs. However, we want the largest
number of people reviewing the available songs, and suggesting
which songs should be included in the cancionero.
We need your help! A relatively small group
cannot do the best job of reviewing all of the more than 2,800 songs.
We also do not think that any normally busy person can review all of the
more than 2,800 songs, and comment about them. So, we are asking you
to look at a small group of those songs. This is NOT a research project.
We are NOT asking you to search for them in whatever hymnals and song
books you have. Please look at one group of the song titles, and
see if you recognize any of them. If you recognize any of them, AND
you think that song is a good one to include in the cancionero,
please let us know. The sections to review are based on your last
name.
